Research Associate, Prof. Hernando Zuleta – February 2019 – June 2020

National Commission for Regional Tax Structure: Analyzed large administrative datasets in Stata and R to inform the Commission’s recommendations on local public finance reform. Conducted literature reviews spanning academic research and legal frameworks of local taxation. Co-authored the Commission’s final report.

Drug-use prevention program evaluation: Assisted in the design, implementation, and econometric analysis of survey data using Stata, and co-authored the final research report.

Intelligence Analyst – August 2017 – February 2019

Conducted econometric analysis of large administrative datasets on Colombia’s natural gas market using R. Produced policy-oriented research reports and presented key findings to public and private stakeholders. Contributed to data validation through field interviews with company representatives.

Analyzed administrative data to track drug prices and cannabis licensing trends. Conducted literature reviews on money laundering. Assisted the Drug Policy Department in research project management, including fieldwork monitoring in coca-producing regions.
